During his training, he achieved the title of Instructor in Urology, participating in several surgical procedures for 5 years. He completed his residency in family practice at the affiliated Medical University of Granma and completed his training in Venezuela.
After he arrived to the United States of America, he decided to pursue his medical career once again and attended Miami Regional University's nursing program, where he obtained his master's degree, followed by his postgraduate in family nurse practitioner.
