Ramatoulie Njie, M.D.

Dr. Njie is a board-certified family medicine physician. She was born in Miami, Florida, with heritage from The Gambia, West Africa.

 Since her undergraduate years at the University of Miami, she has participated in numerous volunteer experiences not only in South Florida but abroad. Additionally, she has worked and performed research on healthcare views in West Africa and Uganda.

She received her medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine, where she became Vice President of the Student Government Association. After completing medical school, she began her residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami, the first family medicine program in the US. There she underwent extensive training in taking care of patients from birth to death, from office visits to intensive care units. Recently, during her training, she was recognized for her outstanding commitment to patients, staff, and community health and awarded the Jefferson Reaves Sr. Health Center Award.

She considers herself an enthusiastic "do-it-Yourselfer. She enjoys spending time with loved ones and learning about all things health, wellness, and culture. She also loves the arts and architecture and is an avid traveler, having visited over 70 countries.
